Go Touch Grass Now! (“the App”) is operated by Jung Min Jo.

This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.

1. Overview

Go Touch Grass Now! helps users reduce distractions by blocking selected apps during scheduled sessions. To end a session, the App may use the device camera to detect whether a photo contains real grass.

2. Camera and image processing

If you use the camera feature, images used for grass detection are processed on-device, in memory only, and discarded after analysis.

The App does not save these images to local files, the Photos library, or its servers. The App does not upload or transmit these images to third parties.

3. Screen Time / Family Controls

The App uses Apple Screen Time / Family Controls permissions to provide app blocking and related functionality.

Information used for these features is handled on-device unless otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. The App does not use this information for advertising or marketing.

4. Local app data

To provide core functionality, the App may store limited app data locally on your device, such as your selected apps or categories for restrictions, schedules, current lock status, pending scan or unlock state, daily scan counts, onboarding status, and similar app settings or state information.

This locally stored data is used only to operate the App’s features and is not used for advertising.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes payment-related information.

The App also uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and entitlement status. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information, such as subscription status, transaction information, purchase history, and anonymous subscriber or app user identifiers needed to support subscription functionality.

The App may also send limited subscription-related app interaction data to RevenueCat, such as selected plan, paywall context, paywall display timing, call-to-action timing, or restore attempt timing, in order to support app functionality and subscription analytics.

6. Advertising

The App does not use your data for third-party advertising. The App does not sell your personal information. The App does not use camera images for advertising or marketing.

7. Support

If you contact us by email, we may receive the information you include in your message, such as your email address and the contents of your request, in order to respond to you.

8. Third-party services

The App may rely on Apple services and RevenueCat for certain functionality, including subscriptions, purchases, and related entitlement management.

9. Data retention

Images used for grass detection are processed on-device, in memory only, and discarded after analysis. The App does not retain these images as local files or on its servers.

Locally stored app data, such as selected apps, schedules, settings, scan counts, and app state information, may remain on your device until you delete the App or clear the data through normal device or app controls, subject to iOS system behavior and backups.

Purchase-related records and subscription-related records handled by Apple or RevenueCat are subject to their own retention practices.

10. Children

The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
